The first weeks go on foundations, so the early work is groundwork rather than leads. Most businesses are targeting their first leads within a couple of months and running multiple channels by month six. Anyone promising leads next week is selling you a list.

Because most of what gets sold as marketing isn't lead gen. We also add experiments into the process where we test hypotheses to see if we can get even better at lead gen.
