The technology has crossed a threshold in the last year. The signals we used to look for to tell real from fake are mostly gone. Voices, faces, full video calls. Indistinguishable from the real thing, generated in minutes by software that did not exist two years ago.

This is not a future problem. CEOs have already been impersonated on calls and authorised millions in transfers. Election footage has been faked. Family members have been cloned to extort money. The pace is accelerating.

This session is about understanding the landscape. What deepfakes are. What the technology can do right now. Where they are showing up. What it means if you are a leader making decisions in a world where seeing is no longer believing.
